An up and coming startup is looking for highly intelligent and motivated people for the post of Junior Software Engineer.
Requirements
1. 1-2 years of professional (or equivalent) experience
2. Solid CS fundamentals
3. Expertise in any of C, Java, Python
4. Strong grip over *NIX like operating systems (we use Debian & Ubuntu)
5. Ability to learn new things, write beautiful code
6. Understanding of how the Web works (HTTP, AMQP, RDBMS, Amazon AWS, etc.)
7. You must be a highly motivated individual with leadership skills
Good to have
1. A 4 year degree in Computer Science (we care about what you know, not the college you attended)
2. Knowledge of the Django web framework
3. Familiarity with any of Lisp, Erlang, Haskell
4. Understanding of and contributions to FOSS
5. Distributed Version Control Systems
6. Knowledge of JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, Semantic Web
